    Lost Keys/remote=towed home

    Basically^.
Just got home. Played a 9 hole round of golf at Bing Maloney golf course in Sacramento and I guess the keys fell out of my golf bag. Only key/remote I have for the car and alarm system.
Any ideas on how much it will be to get a new key made and/or get a new remote for the alarm?? I am looking for the receipts for the alarm right now, I can't remember the company name. The PO had it installed.
Stupidest F-ing thing ever to happen right when I'm about to spend moneys on things I've been saving for like plastic bumpers and headers.

Something like that may be a better way to go. as for the key take your vin/title/proof of ownership to a BMW dealer and get a key made. Then make at least 2 copies (ace/locksmith/hardware stores have these) not as good as the BMW key but they are cheap and wont be a big deal to replace if you lose them and then you always have a key you can make more copies of so you don't have to get keys made at the dealership anymore.

I payed 50 bucks from the stealerships for a brand new key. Just needed registration. Also people will come open the doors if need be, As for the alarm i would open the car disable it and find the serial number on it for a new fob. Good luck!

Golf course called and said they found my keys this morning. Already had a new one made at the dealership for 40 but at least I have a spare now and I don't have to deal with finding a new alarm remote. Too bad now I can't drive this to work anymore....
