Tell me what its worth

I traded a Jeep for a BMW and its an E30 325e 4 door Zinneberot w/ black vinyl interior with no tears, clean head liner, but there is only 45K on the chassis!

What is this car worth to most people...?

Please advise b/c I had it sold for 1200 site unseen to a regular dude, then i drove it, tuned it up etc and honestly never looked at the odometer until I had already tuned it up LOL

I know what I tool I am for this sort of detail lacking... I was more concerned with unloading my vehicle for this E30 I guess

So what should I ask? I'm assuming minimum 2k; but start asking what as a max w/o being ridiculous?

I like the car but Im selling off what I can as I am down to 3 Jeeps from 4 and 2 Jeeps are highly modded out and gonna take losses even if I get what I want.

I cant really justify keeping the BMW if I can get $2500ish as we need $

Otherwise, I will have to keep it and the wife already said its "cute".

This is after loosing me to 2 Jeep builds in the last 2 years!

Is it cute enough for her to learn to drive a standard?

The longer I have it the more I wanna keep it and start the stick lessons lol

We would probably need pictures to make better judgement. And 45k on an early model is very unlikely, and if it is the case, it definitely sat for a long time, and that can be worse for a car than just driving it.

if you need the money, i say bust out some soap and water give it a good wash and waxing, nice detail on the outside, and take the interior, take the seats out and give it the best vacuum ever and wipe down every where else and if it is as clean as you say you could probably get 3k for it on CL, just gotta find the right buyer.
i say clean it very very well take pics, post on CL for 3-4k and see what sort of offers you get then make your mind up from there. but god forbid you sell a well working e30, you will bite your ass for that one later in life.

It is good working except I have idle issues....I dont know if its the ICV or what else

It has really minimal "sitting" issues. The most I noticed wrong was a lumpy steering rack and that oil must have moved around nicely as the next drive the steering was smooth n no lumpy feel. I know the 3 will get me 30+ mpg and I dont get anything in my Dually worth mentioning fuel economy and try sneaking home in a piped diesel truck. All my vehicles are loud even the gassers. This E30 has a nice exhaust on it and it sounds good not obnoxious but definitely not stock.

I like the simplicity and the tight low feel. It looks like a 2002 from underneath! I was supposed to buy my boys '71 2002 from him out in CA and instead went the Mega Dually route for a work truck...

I can see myself tweakin an E30 easily. Can u confirm that a TD 524 crank and the 325i head off an M20 motor will actually net a 100 hp increase in the 325e motor!?
