New e30

Hello everyone,
I purchased my first e30 yesterday. Previously owned e36 (when new) and r56 Mini Cooper. Very excited about the e30. Needs a bunch of work. Here is some info on it, more pics to come:
-1991 318IS
-m50b25
-96 m3 5 spd
-Pretty crappy interior with some type of "race" seat
-Style 5's, redrilled
-Ireland Engineering springs around Billies
-410 LSD
-Worlds ugliest pastel yellow paint covering a very straight body
- New paint coming in the near future
-No ac, ps, radio

The car needs a radiator as there is not one in it right now, which really helped me get a sweet deal. Also, I need to figure out which radiator the car needs because of the swap, still have to do my homework on that one. Any help locating one in Southern California would be much appreciated.

Here are some photos and a couple more items I forgot to mention:
Came with ix fender flares, front lip is not on the car because I need a bumper, came with AC Schnitzer rear spoiler, one syle 5 has a popped hankook so I have a bottle cap on. The worst part on this car is by far the clown steering wheel by momo.

I'm seriously considering a satin green paint (not a spray can, the real deal), or possibly british racing green. Otherwise I may just go black.

It does look like Dakar Yellow, but it doesnt belong on this car, nor does it look good on it. Not a big fan of yellow, even though my Mini was yellow. It ended up being half black half yellow when I was done. Miss that car:

welcome! and i like the yellow. i dont see it much and im already sick and fucking tired of the normal e30 colors. its so nice to see some thing different! i think what would set if off would be powder coated black style 5s with color matched yellow bolt heads or the lip. and no centers. lighter cars always go well with some contrast in the wheel department.

I agree with you about the contrast (see pic of my MINI), but this is just a bit too bright for an e30. I dont think the color compliments the car. A good color for a rounded car, not one with hard lines, or so I think.

Yeah, it was. I dont think it is appealing to too many people because it needs work and is butt ugly right now. I plan on having a ratrod e30 turbo beast a year from now.
