Questions about an Exhaust setup for an E30 M50

    Nope, The vanos is controlled by the Engine harness and the Ecu so the harnesses will deffinatly be different.

        Come on guys who knows? Can I use the muffler I have for my M20 ( DTM sparco exhaust) its for a 318is? Or will these be restrictive? It only has a single inlet to the muffler and of course the M50 has 2 so that will need some fab work. Stu seemed to think it would be restrictive.......

        So to some up my question ......

        Can I get away with using my exhaust that I have now for a 318is.... Or should I get something else? Will it flow enough to make a difference?

          what size inlets on the muffler? you'll want at least 2.5" diameter for an m50 (if its a single pipe)

            its 2.25 inches! damn it. I bought that shit for an arm and a leg and never even put it on.

            Theres another expense for the M50 swap. Fun Fun Fun
