When they come out, the regular vette will have as much hp as the current Z06, and the new Z06 will have much more. Sooooo, 02-04 Z06 will probably suffer the used Corvette syndrome and tank in price, and you will probably be able to pick up a used one for cheap.

I just saw that. I like how that made tha car get on the tralier backwards at the end.
But I like the new look of the vette.
notice no reverse lights, musta filmed it backwords.
but there are reverse lights, look at it again and look near the license plate, you'll see them light up

the new vette looks great, but i dont know why people are saying it looks like other cars, it looks just like the old one with better angles and better hear lights, although i wish they went with the le mans style lights, these will do :)

Trust me, the in-line 180 to reverse on the trailer was done just that way. There were no tricks with reversing or playing backwards.

The inline 360 is a bit more fun but it takes mAd SkILlz to do a 180 on the marks like that.

The new Z06 is still under wraps, waiting for full details...

First time since 1962. Since then they've all had popup lights. I love Corvettes, its been my favorite car for ages. Favorite Corvette is a 1970-72 Corvette Stingray convertible 454 block in Targa blue with the side exhaust and rear luggage rack options, along with the 4 speed manual with black interior. I will someday find and own that car....

As for the performance model, I hope they call it something other than the Z06. Every performance package of the Corvette has had a different name, like the L-88 and L-89, just name it after the engine code or something, keep the Z06 name out. I want to see original names for performance models since the original Z06 was from the 1963 Corvette Stingray performance package, not model, which included a bigger gas tank, larger metal linings for the brakes, larger braking drums, cooling fans in the drums, and heavy duty front and rear springs.

Okay no more Corvette stuff, back to BMW's....
            Reminiscing...

So, who wants to be the first one to call it American POS? :? .....Any takers :?: Didn't think so. Yeah, that is an amazing machine. My hat is off to Chevy. Muscle, agility, looks what more could you ask for? And the sick part is it will get good gas mileage like all Chevrolets in this generaryion.
