I want to change ATF in my 88 325is and have synthetic ATF fluid left over. Was wondering if anyone used synthetic fluid in E30 auto tranny and had no issues.

Don't do it! it will die unless it had a recent rebuild. if stock, you dare pour that devil oil in there and I can bet money it will go out in 4 weeks max if that.
**** not exactly but I really wanna scare you out of doing it... Not really good for the zf22's... find a regular low detergent fluid or go to the dealership.
