Your site looks tacky. The colorful banner looks like it belongs on some cheap 99c toothpaste box and the E30 silhouette is jagged.

I would change that colorful banner to a simple one or two colour joint that blends in with the rest of the page, remove the "I Love My E30" and try getting a different E30 outline that isn't so jagged if you're inclined to keep it.

I honestly liked it more before the page loaded properly and the background was all black.

I think if you want present something for the public to read, make it readable. The look of the site as well as your car are all up to your taste. I think it's sad that writing intelligently is an option.
