Sbarro 328 Speciale

The original BMW 328 was launched in 1936. Designed from the outset as a model of competition, it was intended to give a sports brand to BMW. Franco Sbarro launched in 1974 a stunning replica of the 328 and produced three variants this being the last and most spectacular the Sbarro 328 Speciale.
The Speciale used a 3.5 straight 6 BMW engine fitted with a turbo meaning it developed 245BHP. Extended body and large wheels give it a more aggressive look, more distant from the original. Considering the suspension, engine and basic mechanics are all from BMW, the Sbarro is a fantastic looking machine for a fraction of an original 328
