With a Momo wheel installed does it make the steering wheel farther away from your body or is it like the normal M-Tech wheel?

Depends on what wheel you buy. If its flat than it may be farther away. If it has any kinda dish then it can be closer to you.

^What he said. Mine's flat and definitely feels further away, although it's very small in diameter so it may not feel quite as far away at the top of the wheel as a larger flat one.
