Ignorance is bliss. Scions are great cars, I wish I had a 1st gen XB for a daily driver. Honestly they are great.

Hopefully the OP meant he hates modified Scions. (To which I would agree).

the problem with scions is (and i'm pissed at this because i was really following the toyota FT86 development, which the powers-to-be decided to brand and sell as a scion) they are marketed towards a young crowd as a 'performance' vehicle, and a customizable one at that. they practically sell fartcan mufflers, rattling subs and underglo at the dealer!



so basically every low-class douchenozzle with F&F in his eyes wants a piece of that. not to say they aren't decent transportation, or can't be decent performers or look good.. but that's few and far in between.

eh its a cheap econo car for younger drivers...with toyota reliability (take that how you will) so its easy for younger kids to get into one and mod it with the scion shit at the dealer..

its not the cars you hate its the drivers...and most but not all , of the younger guys that come to the meets act like dipshits , doing burnouts and acting like fools with their cars...shit few weeks ago a white v6 mustang with neon lights everywhere , including inside his wheels , was doing a one wheel peel just as a cop pulled in...it was a sweet victory that we basked in

xa's and xb's are pretty lame looking.
tc's do not look bad and come with perks, and if done right can be very cool cars.

Speaking of douchey scion drivers, few years ago, I followed a few kids from my high school and they were gonna race in the twisties. Ralliart lancer vs Scion tc. I was in my stock e30 and went to watch. These kids were basically racing over a girl and their pride got in front of their judgement.





I came around the turn a few moments later (I was going the speed limit). Retard totalled the tc coming around the corner to fast and bit the wall. He somehow got money from his insurance and bought a red jetta. Nuff said.
