    New Car Jitters

Well my parents got me a new car. My old one is, well, getting old. My poor corsica is still kicking though. My friend Alecs Mac found me a beauty. He found me a 1990 325i Calypsorot-Metallic. She is a beauty. My loving parents flew all the way to California and drove it all the way back to Laurel ,MS. What love!!! Well its nice to finally make a post.

    Long Live the Corsica!!!

                            DO NOT BUY ONE.

e30 m3's arent good daily drivers- take it from someone who has owned one.

that car was easily my favorite e30 i've had (four total) but think of this-

if you dont have the money for an e30 m3 where are you going to get it? you'll borrow it right? so when something goes wrong with it (and trust me it will) it's not your calypso 4 dr we're talking about anymore. its a fucking e30 m3. parts are so much more expensive. where are you going to get the money to fix it? another loan?

but go ahead and get one. pay 15k for a nice one. but you'll be dissapointed. i think you want one for the wrong reasons. 325i's are almost as fast, and can handle almost as well for a fraction of the cost of an e30 m3.

i'd say either bump it up to an e36 m3, or just keep looking for another e30. but my impression of you is this: you are not the right kind of owner the e30 m3 is looking for. they are picky little cars, and they dont take a lot of shit.

one day i will own another, it will be perfect. but until i have a house, and i'm settled down, i'm not going to worry about car payments. e30 m3's need a lot of attention and money. so it only makes sense that they're not good DD's.
