Anyone got Antic plates in CT

Just bought 88 325is and was wondering if there are any benefits of having antique plates? In CT we can get antic plates if car is more than 20 year old.
One thing I know you have to pay property tax on $500 only. But is there any other benifit like cheap insurance?
