quick question about sport seats. UPDATED 9/7/11

is there some way to rearrange devices and seat belt buckles on sport seats so drivers side can be swapped with a passenger doner??
    thanks.

I am currently using a passenger sport on the drivers side. Just swap the bottom bracket sliders from a drivers to that passenger seat. All controls are on the wrong side but everything works. Even the buckle bolts up stock fitment.

I am sure the controls swap around too, I just did not waste my time.

Yes, it is a pain in the ass to adjust the seat though...

You can also just remove the seat skins and swap them over/around.

This is the best option, but takes a while longer. Also if there is light wear you could end up tearing a hole etc with fitting it back on.

Vinyl? gross go cloth if you are going to recover.

If you wore pants you wouldn't have to worry about if your seats are worn out.

My driver's side cushion is more worn and cause more pain in my back. And my friends make fun of my beaded seat cover. :D (it's very comfortable though) So swapping seats sounds like a good idea.

ewww, vinyl, the poor man's leather. Cloth is better for gripping you in the seat and doesn't get as hot.

When you swap the seats the driver seat only has one flipper to fold the seat forward so now the passenger seat can't be folded forward when someone gets in on the passenger side. No big deal on a sedan but might be on a coupe or convert. DAMHIK.
