    1000 rwhp engine build video

Would anyone like to see how they HPF makes a 1000rwhp capable engine? Here ya go. I learnt quite a bit with these 4 videos. I can't find the 5th and 6th video one the rest of the engine build but this is how meticulous it is to make this piece of art...ENJOY!!! I know it has nothing to do with e30's but it's still pretty amazing.

    part 1:

    part2:

    part3:

    part4:

in car chasing 1000whp monster after build:

let me know what you all think

WOW way cool, ive built SR's and RB's back at the shop and i was really impressed with the really close attention to detail. This guy knows his shit!
Its too bad most motor shops dont use torque blocks and actually do it all right like this guy. So true what he was saying about taper and egg shape cylinder walls with expansion and retraction with machining temps, and also about the hatching shards that the rings usually pick off during break in.

I really like the idea of proper machining and eliminating any metallics in the oil.

i bet to have your motor done there it cost big bucks.

    Thanks for posting this vid

Wow. Really the rap music makes me not care enough to watch. Their target audience would go for that music?

cool, but the filming kinda sucked... kept going in and out of focus the whole time. I know that was the point but come on it's not a hipster music video

Yeah they messed up on that part but their target audience would be interested in the video enough to bare through the music and watch the video.

and they probably didn't think that the people who would actually watch this wouldn't care too much about the "style" of filming they used...just interested in the actual craftsmanship, skill, and technique put into rebuild one of these engines and also all the useful information in it

What would you give to have that guys knowledge and access to those machines.

you've got that backwards... since no one cares about the style of filming the camera guy should have just stuck to the basics. Its kind of annoying when you try to watch them build an engine and the camera keeps going in and out of focus at obscure angles
