So what are you driving this winter?

All of my cars are way too low or just not practical for Michigan winters so this is my winter daily.

    Summer.......

    Winter.............

I grew up in MI, that really is a bit over kill for a strictly Winter beater lol you only have 10 days of snow a year where you MIGHT need 4x4.

A beater s-10 would have been far cheaper, I made it though many a LP MI winter with a 2wd shit 10 lol

Either way have fun with it in the summer time too, on some of those old oil field roads

Probably an 01 Saturn SL2 5 spd (with traction control) if I can get it through emissions. Went for inspection a week ago and was told their computer couldn't connect with mine so they got no info from my car and had to give it a reject. I have 60 days for retest. I ran my own code reader later and had no problem so I don't know what they did wrong. Maybe they didn't plug in their connector all the way? Pain in the ass. Got the car for $1800 in June 2010 but found $100 in quarters in the trunk :p Been driving without major issues the last year and it now has 133K.

Hopefully my vw mk2. Did great last the winter I drove it. My e28 dd sucks ass in the rain so unless I buy decent snow tires and throw in my 3.73lsd I'm not even going to try with it once the white shit starts.

About the above Saturn, the other mechanic at my job has a wagon about the same year and has the same problem when he went for inspection(3 times now) they think it's a ECU problem but he's been driving uninspected for like 4 months now. If you figure it out pm me incase he ever decides to try and fix it.

I live in Va. SRSLY, fuck snow. I just don't go out. It's not me I'm worried about....it's all the other rednecks who think their mudboggers can roll 55 down our little backroads and just smash through fences. Glad I live in a private residential area where the only asshole is me and my neighbors dog I wanna shoot.

When we do get this "snow", my e46 with Conti DWS does just fine. Fuck FWD.

The E-Dirty did just fine with the few snow storms we got in Richmond last year. Although if fit hits the shan there is a 1970 Jeepster Commando in the fleet to help out. Its got low range and locking hubs but no roof...

Yeah an s10 is to small for my wife and two sons. The FJ is our "fun toy" that we all can enjoy together. And yes, it does get used in the summer going to Silver lake sand dunes.
