I have just removed the lower control arm from my fathers 540i, since the outer ball joint had play in it. Now, the new lemforder (sp?) does not seem like it is correct; there appears to be some type of metal collar around the original. the new is in the foreground.
How am i supposed to get this off to transfer to the new one or did pelican parts send me the wrong thing?
any help is appreciated
