    Picture reqest

Hey everyone, I'm looking into buy an eibach prokit but have searched alot and failed to find pics of what they look like installed. I am wondering if anyone has pics of them installed in a stock 318is. Or any e30 (besides ix and vert) with an stock suspension setup besides the springs. I am just worried that they may not be low enough for my liking, or that the front will still be too high

    thanks

I would recommend against Eibachs. They are widely known as too soft for the drop and hit the bump stops a lot. I'd go towards Vogtlands (similar to H&R sport but a bit stiffer) or H&R race.
    paint sucks

Thanks for the info. Whats the drop height and price compared to the Eibach's?

My Vogtlands are 60mm....but then again it's on a 'vert, which apparently you have something against.

        Lulz jk!

Needs a little bit more low.

Wait, 2.4 inches lower just with your vogtlands?! I didn't realize lowring springs could do that much. Or did you cut a bit?

I cut nothing. Hell, they were on the car when I got it. I love it, but wanna be able to fit all the way under the trailer. Better for towing it. Anywho, he told me the springs were 60mm....and it is damn low, so I believed.

'Vert's are heavier, thus the springs are different, but I don't think by that much, IMO, as the springs are made specifically for 'vert/coupe etc to achieve a similar, if not the same look.

Dude if you like I can sell you mine after this weekend, for one hell of a great price. I live in NYC and we have horrible roads and my eibach pros are too damn low for these streets.

It looks like you only have the front springs in, or a pile of spring pads in the rear.

They're all in. I had just finished jacking my car up in the rear to change my diff juice, so it was sitting kinda high after.

What shocks are you running? It's sittin' pretty, but you must have a skidplate with that setup.
