My girl friend found a Black 86 635CSi. He has 9K on it. This thing is sweet. It has the red and black leather interior. 18 inch hyper silver wheels with bmw center caps and brembo brakes. Original paint is sharp. Was garage kept and has 104k on the clock. Overal a clean ride. What do ya think? Any pros and cons to this model? thanks.
My girl found a 635!

When you say he has 9k on it do ya mean he wants $9000 for it? I wouldnt pay that much unless its a mint M6. For a mint 635csi Id say $4500 is about on par for what Ive seen them sell for.'92 MTech cabrio: Tesla P85 powered

I'd love to see where you're finding late model e24's with less than 200k on them for under 8k.Originally posted by jon volkWhen you say he has 9k on it do ya mean he wants $9000 for it? The 87-89's are still holding their value quite nicely, and one in good shape with low miles still commands a nice premium.
The issues with these cars (the later gen e24) are the same as the e28's. Dodgey front suspension and front brakes that really aren't that great. Nothing horrid, but the general "fix" is to run 750/850 front end components. Otherwise, they're tanks.

Ive seen two locally within the past 3 months. Both under 200k but over 100k. I guess Ive just been lucky enough to see some deals.Originally posted by CharlieI'd love to see where you're finding late model e24's with less than 200k on them for under 8k.Originally posted by jon volkWhen you say he has 9k on it do ya mean he wants $9000 for it?
