    Wiper Drive-Rod Replacement..

Wiper mechanism keeps slipping off the drive rod. (Pic below). What is the best way to replace this part, or to try to get this metal ball/joint to stay in the socket? Is this plastic removable?

    Thanks in advance!

Replace the link arm. The plastic cup is worn out. It's cheap, but kind of a pain.

Don't you have to pull the dash? I thought I read that recently. Single wiper conversion time perhaps?
