RX7 calipers from Junky YAY! But can they be rebuilt?

I got these rx7 calipers from the junkyard to do a cheap bigger brake setup. But when I popped out the pistons (TOOK FOREVER!) one piston and the chamber look soooo chewed up. I am wondering how bad the second one is. Hopefully not as bad. But can I rebuild them?

Sorry for the bad iphone pics. But you get the idea I hope.

Oh yeah... And these pics have been taken after cleaning and air blowing with a compressor. Its clean. No sanding or polishing has been done though.

i know you can hone the cylinder hole and replace the cylinder, but the lip of the cylinder bore looks trashed. I suppose as long as the wiper ring doesn't ride that high I don't know if it would matter.

If you got them super cheap, I'd consider using them as a core for already rebuilt ones from Napa/autozone/etc.

No other insight? I am thinking of still using them to rebuild.

ehhhh. That outer edge is pretty chewed up and will gouge out the piston as you use it and then the seal the first time you put new brake pads in.

        I'd use em for cores

but I got my fd caliper for pretty cheap.
          Good luck with the setup

Insight, all you need is reading comprehension and some common sense. I wouldn't fuck about and cheap out with brakes, they are pretty darn important. 2 cents.

Where? I am thinking autozone with 50 bucks per caliper. Thats with new hardware and new seals and everything. Doesnt seem too bad.
