This sorta applies to this thread.. I once had to be towed because my e30s clutch master cylinder broke, we used the stock tow hook on the front and now my front end doesn't fit together worth a shit. Front bumper fitment is off, and now my grill fitment around my headlights are off aswell, I'm pretty sure the front end is tweaked due to towing it. So be carefull when some one is towing your car, make sure they don't yank on it.

I hate the ppl who ride their brakes and they lurch the fuck out of you... Something tells me that bitch is going to rip out after a little while down the road...:-(Originally posted by devon.818low key i actually paid attention to the drifting...then saw bouncing tits and went :oOriginally posted by devon.818as for a 4hr boner...idk, start using it for things; cup holder, dial the phone, type with it, fix things, diagnose the e30, probe random shit...Originally posted by Mercury[BKM]...because Machine Gun

The thing all of you guys are not considering is that the hook is probably WAY over engineered. What you have to consider is the bolts holding the bumper shock in place. These are the week link in the system. I believe they are M10 bolts, so basically the tow hook can withstand what two M10 bolts can withstand, which frankly, is a lot.
I once towed a parts car ~2 miles through town with no windshield and only the hand parking brake. Good times, good times. lol
