looking at an E30. auto! yes or no?

so the guy was a douchebag and a dickhead fused together to form a steaming pile of shit in human form. this asshole listed the car for 1800 and i called him as soon as he posted it. set up a time the next day for me to come and get the car. i woke up around 8am and texted him to confirm that i was going to be heading out. i live about 80 miles from him. so i drag my mom out of bed (its her day off) and im making her drive real early in the morning and felt pretty bad about it. i call the guy and he says that another guy is offering him more for the car, 1900. I said ok well I can match that offer. He says okay gives me directions and I head out. I exit the freeway and call him only to find out that there are two more people checking the car out! I asked him what was going on and he says that he just sold the car. He kept going on about how he promised this dude that he was going to see the car first and how he called two days earlier.. and he's a man of his word blah blah blah bullshit!!! im fucking pissed!!! why are people so godamn retarded. he could'nt take 30 seconds out of his pointless fucking life to call me and tell me to turn around and go home because my retarded ass told 3 people to check out the car at the same godamn time!

sorry for the rant. on a brighter note. i picked up a clean e28 which i'm very happy with :)
its funny how things work out sometimes and im super glad i didn't end up with an auto e30 today. 5 speed e28 FTW!

Semiautomatic's can be great till you do a manual swap which makes it even better. Its been ten years now and i just havent done it yet. Being a daily driver for 10 years in LA.

If I sell a car via craigslist, first person with cash in front of me gets the car. Can't risk loosing a sale just to let someone else look at the car, lots of people come with the intention to buy and walk away saying they'll think about it or let you know.
