Just changes driving dynamics a little bit. I like mine. If properly adjusted, clutch wear will be the same.

shorter travel distance of the clutch pedal = quicker shifts. From what I understand, thats the basics of it. Sometimes I don't see how a clutch stop is going to increase wear..

Don't these increase clutch wear? I've been driving without a clutch stop for years... eventually your foot knows exactly where to clutch in without even needing a clutch stop. At the race track I don't notice the difference anyway.

    M10 - 1.5 pitch
    e30 seat-to-floor bolt (shorter)
    e30 CAB lollipop bolt (40mm / longer)
e30 seat bolt cover used as a pad

Opted to run the shorter seat bolt.

I think the thread pitch is 2.0 or 2.5mm (coarse). I just bought a couple bolts in different thread pitches since they cost like 10 cents a peice. then I spent the extra 10 cents on a couple nuts to lock it in place, and finally, I got all crazy and spent $1.00 on a set of rubber bumpers from the bottom of a chair.

$10 for something that should cost ~$1.50 is stupid too.

All you need is an 40mm long M10 bolt (I have to double-check the thread pitch) and a rubber "foot," like what your grandpa has on the bottom of his cane. If you want to get fancy, you can buy a lock-nut (or a pair of regular nuts) to lock it down. You can buy everything you need for a couple of bucks at any hardware store.

The original is an M10, but you're right that a 3/8-16" should fit.

You can make a really nice clutch stop for about $2 and a trip to ace hardware.

I like UUC but you'd be mad to spend $20 plus shipping on a bolt, a nut and a bit of rubber.
