    WTF?! Help!

So um I pulled my car over to jumpstart my roommate's car and all of a sudden I noticed coolant coming out from under my car. And from here?!

What?! Coolant even goes there?! Since when… Anyway I have no idea whats going on here. I dont know if its relevent but I noticed the area around there looked damp (slightly darker) also looked like that around my tranny but I just have no idea whats happening here. Help!

No it seems too far up to be spare tire. See the silver bit by the exhaust, thats where the resonator goes. But I can check to see if my extra coolant spilled in there somehow

It is?… My heater works fine. I actually think its what the first guy said. I dug around in my trunk and at the very back a jug of coolant stuff I forgot I had had tipped and spilt. So the area up close to the seat is soaked with coolant. Sooo… How to do I know which it is :/

Remove jug, clean area, allow to dry, then see if shit still pours out.

Well I took it out. And none has come out since the initial splurge. I double checked coolant level, it was a little bit low but nothing unusual. Topped it back up and ran the car with the heater blaring (still strong enough to heat my house) and no more splooshed out except for like residual dripping… So ummm, am I good? No leaky heater core?

Pressure test your cooling system to verify no leaks.

So, you spilled some coolant in your trunk, it leaked out of the trunk, now you're wondering if your car is broken/ you have a coolant leak?

Still pressure in the system. Dont know how you "pressure test" but I squeezed the tubes and they had some pressure. I'm guessing the moisture is from when it was raining here the other day and car hasnt been driven since. And freak leak was from my coolant spilling in the back. Or at least thats what I'm hoping.

Ummmm at first? Haha I didn't see the coolant jug in the back and I didnt know it could leak out there… So my first thought was the cooling system might have done some weird shit. Idk, haha seems like lots has needed replacing lately so I was concerned. I feel like a fool

Pressure testing involves replacing your rad cap with tool that allows you to pump up the system to a given pressure and then see if it holds that pressure or leaks down.
