    Picking up an e28, q&a

    So I recently sold my e30 for an e28 because the car was just to big of a project for a collage kid like myself and I'm wondering if I should do anything different from my last e28 to this one. (note I had an e28 before my e30) I'd post this on mye28.com but most of those guys are fuckwads to simple questions I ask on there so I figured I'd ask the r3v world. My first e28 was an 85 535i with 124k on it. It came with a set of borbet type t's that I had painted copper. I did h&r springs and billi struts on it, threw a roof rack on it for my bike and a nice coat of wax along with the basic essentials such as an oil change, coolant flush, ect and it came out like this

    Not to bad for my first BMW. Now my next e28 is an 83 533i and I'm looking to do something a little bit different but I'm not sure what. I know I want more power but I dont want to do a ridiculous massive engine swap (as sick as a v8 swap would be) so I'm thinking of doing a TCD turbo set up on it but I'm not going to start there. I did like the h&r suspension set up but it wasn't quite what I was looking for in the performance aspect. I need suspension suggestions, and where to even begin before I even start to think about boosting it. (I've never boosted an m30 before so I dnt know where to start). Any thoughts and yes i know there was a lot of random info in this but I got board waiting for my girlfriend to get ready.
