Another almost R3V...

I was on my way to work with my friend. We are in the right lane of a 3 lane freeway going 60 mph (the speed limit).

We were talking and stuff and I guess I wasn't paying super attention to the road but enough for me to stay on. So I look out the windshield there is this car parked in our lane.

At this point I slam on the brakes, downshift into fourth, and switch lanes. This happened soooo quickly man. I look in my rearview mirror only to see to ladies inside the car just sitting there!!!! WTF move your car over into the emergency lane man!

My legs turned into jelly. That shit was scary. It rained later that day and thank god that it wasn't raining at the time of this incident.

So did you hit anything or damage your car in any way?
If not then it's not even an "almost R3V".

Try driving in MA. I have to do shit like that on a weekly basis, regardless of how well I'm paying attention to the road.

Downshifting certainly wouldn't be in my list of top priorities on that occaision :shock:

What exactly does r3v stand for? I always thought it stood for "rev". How would a nearly wrecked car be an "almost r3v".

n00b...haha, had to say it. a "r3v" is when u wreck yer e30 doing something stupid, IE: getting into an accident b/c u were chopping it up like a teenage gurl instead of paying attention to the road... :twisted:

And downshifted doing 60mph in 5th gear my friend at low low rpms.
