    convertibles and coupes different?

    hey everybody i have a interesting question,my dad just purchased a 91 automatic convertible top and he wants to get a parts car and he asked me if the doors and fenders and hood were any longer or shorter on a coupe then his car.is there a difference or any thing we should look out for on the body?please help thx

    The doors are completely different, an E30 coupe has window frames whereas a cabriolet does not. The front fenders are reinforced at the bottom and have additional trim on the cabriolet unlike the coupe, they will not work either. As for the hood, all E30 hoods are the same.
