I got my Kumho Ecsta AST 225/50 on the trm c1 15x8 for 750 shipped in two days I was very pleased! They even called to let me know that with those tires they would rub and I would need rolling, which I knew.

I was real hesitant on getting 225's because I was told they'd likely rub. I opted for 205's and they were basically the same price. Seemed like they're on the small end of the rim width but I figure if they thought it was unsafe to mount them they would have called and advised against it.

I rub now, and still need to properly roll my fenders, because I am on IE3s but I didn't rub when I was on stock springs unless someone was in the back seat.

One thing I noticed was air pressure is important in these tires more than others I have had. I run about 38 up front and 40 at the rear and I noticed that my wear has gone down remarkably since I upped them and the tires are not hot to the touch.

Good to know thanks for the tip. I had read the tire wear isn't so great on these tires but they were fairly inexpensive and a decent tire. I briefly ran than a while back on my old car.
