Heart Transplant...for the e30

Every time i go to the drag strip I see fox body 5.0s running 9s 10s 11s. But i never see e30s. Sure there are some super fast e30s but not for under 5,000. In a mustang 5k go's a long way. I think this will be my next swap. Most people who do swaps aren't building show quality cars they want cheap speed . Mustangs are hard to beat for that.

Yeah my next swap is going to have to be a 5.0 swap, not even going to lie..

Gotta get a daily driver because while swaping an M50 into an E30 would take me about a day, this seems like it's going to take significantly longer ;)

I wouldn't say direct drop and go swap.
1: you need to convert to manual brakes which would mean figuring out which MC to run, which fixed calipers to change to, you gotta run basically an entirely new brake setup to compensate for manual brakes
2: You gotta get your driveshaft redone custom..t5 front half, bmw rear half
3: I'm not even sure how you would wire that for the cluster to accept it
4: Fuel management? Would the stock pump be able to do it?
5: Gotta bang out that firewall (Which I probably wouldn't be ok with, I like my insulation, I like my car to be quiet on the inside.)

Wow. I'm gone a few days and this turns into a v8 thread. haha

Thanks for all the input guys. I may just get another m20 and boost it. I'm moving sooner than I expected so I'm not sure if I have enough time to try and perform any of the other options.

Look at the second skin products online about that. I've seen their sludge used with great results!
