If you weren't driving wrecklesly, how would the car slide out in 2nd?

I know my car doesn't do that during normal driving.

Why dont you try it on the rain, on the same conditions Josh did? Josh did ignore a lot of details in his story.

Seriously.... dont start asking for a fight here, history proves that you'll lose.

I'm sorry to offend and probly shouldn't have jumped to conclusions BUT, when I saw the following quote... It lead me to wonder...
.....not speeding or driving recklessly. I came to blind turn at about 45 mph, and when I downshifted, the rear of the car broke free and I slid into the oncoming lane and impacted with the Honda

Time ago I was driving at low rpms in second gear I kicked the clutch rev some and released, the rubbers slippered in the wet orad when was raining littli bit and hollyshiit, almost was the finish for my bimmer!!! I saw from my winshield hte center that devide both lanes...dammit I had to recover the control.......and then to the other side...I was very lucky to continue with my slow trip....I was an asshole for doing that!!!

thats actually pretty easy to do..i did it a few weeks back......downshifted and hit white painted road markings on a damp road and the rear just started to step out....wasnt expecting it at all, but i had plenty of room to catch it tho.
                    once again bad luck josh

i drive like granny in anything less then dry pavement... there is no sense taking unnecessary risks. e30s are tail happy, i've learned my lesson from past experiences (no accidents thus far though).

You guys dont want to be driving my car when it is wet out. When the boost kicks in, at any rate of acceleration, it WILL step out in rain. It happens in gears 1-3. I seriously need to consider widebody/FAT tires.
