Ive been looking at verts; now that its winter you can snag these pretty cheap in the bay area, my GF saw and was like "oh I like that car" this was yesterday and I was looking at a '91 325ic in alpine w autotragic, thrashed interior and a "wheel shimmy" (prolly CAB) origional paint and straight body for $1200
Called the guy up got some more pics and agrees on a time tom meet to see the car, It was on Cr L for 45 when I saw it. We head out.
Dude calls me, Car is sold:-(
Another car we had seen was an 87 or 88 early bumper vert also in alpine w a 5speed, 189.000 miles w a new top looked realy clean. We headed ou to see this one and when I got there was surprised to find 15" fitapaldi wheels w nice rubber and the key for all 4 center caps. this car has a busted water pump and some clea coat peeling on the hood(rare for a alpine) but is straight and rust free nice stereo and a new top, clean title. Found a local shop that will do the timing belt and pump for like $275. Bought it for $1000.
This car is a little different than my 89 325is alpine. water resivoir is on the other side. what else is different
Now I want my girls E3o
verts are cool
