E30 Leather Desk Seat

Is anybody using a stock E30 seat as a desk seat? Since i bought some new seats, i have no use for my leather "non-sport" seats, so i decided to use one of them as my desk seat. It's a little on the low side, therefore i will fabricate a wooden box frame and bolt it directly on to make it an appropriate height!

dude, forget a wooden box, canabalize an old desk chair w/ a gas lift or at least some casters to roll around on

i used to have my factory non-power recaros from the corrado as desk chairs but they are heavy and bulky for a chair to have in your house and have no arm rests... very easy to knock stuff over with them

i have a tan non sport with no use and that porsche spring gave me a good idea cuz i have a 325iS springs also maybe i can do something like that and then get some desk chair wheels so it can roll.
