dd my 86 es 500 miles a week to and from work. i'm 57 and have driven a lot of cars but man i love this e30. fully stock except for a chip and a 325 lsd.
I used to daily my 318is.. but been having some weird engine problems. So now my old motorbike/e46 have taken the brunt of daily duties..
Sometimes I take the supercharged s52 out for a spin, but every time I drive it I feel like I am going to get pulled over.. so easy to go too fast in that damn car! Need a hardwired v1..
During my m50 swap in my coupe, dd my cabrio or my superchargered Xterra. Now that is complete, the coupe will resume it's dd activities. I have a radio but chose to listen my engine instead...it sounds much better than the crap on the radio anyway. I will install the AC by summer though.
To answer the poll question, yes an no for me since my cabrio resides in the garage most of the time. I did chose yes to answer "do you drive a e30 as a dd"
Its my daily driver starting in the spring after a few good rainstorms have washed all the salt off the roads up until right about now when the snow could start at any day.
I have a 1994 Silverado that is my daily, I don't currently own a E30. I also don't currently drive my Silverado, I drive a MRAP Maxpro. As soon as I get back from Iraq, I plan on flying to California and picking up an E30 though.
It won't be the daily, as soon as the first snow falls and they start salting the roads the E30 will sit in the garage. The Silverado will take over snow driving duties.
I switch between my 325iS and my Vert every few days. That way they don't get jealous of each other. And if I have to go out on icy roads or heavy snow days I steal my wife's CR-V
I DD my E30 when my 65 bug is torn apart (which is a lot), full interior, heat/a/c, full stereo, sport springs. Oh and its only about a 1/4 mile from my house to my work. So far its taken me 3 months to drive 1,000 miles lol
