sacrifices you make for your family

So my father recently moved to Richmond,Va from Bothell, Wa. He drove his 2001 740il sport all the way across the country only to discover its "too big for parking and driving in the city." He was tired of always looking for a larger parking spot and the thought occurred to him that perhaps my wife might be willing to trade her 04 325ci for his 740 for a while. Since my wife had our daughter and no longer commutes to work, i bought her a used MB e320 wagon. Its a wonderful car and thats what she uses to haul around our daughter and the dog. The e46 has been sitting in the driveway for over a year now with less than 200 miles put on it. mostly by me just to keep the battery charged. I was recently thinking of selling the car but it's paid for and i hate to sell anything i own especially if its in good working order. So FOR MY DADS SAKE, we decided to go ahead and part with the e46 to make way for a smoking hot e38. Im going to go get the camera and post some pics.

So how is trading a car you never use to a family member for another car (even if slightly lower in value) qualify as a sacrifice?

Your father made a huge sacrifice trading the e38. Poor guy.

i'd much rather drive an e38 than my wifes e46. Besides the trade is only temporary, until my pop finds a place in richmond with a garage.

If you drive your e30 on stairs, you're gonna have a bad time.
