    Wheel repainting/refinishing

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right section for this but I'm new to the san diego area and I'm probably gonna be picking up some wheels that are gonna be in need of a refinish/repaint. I was just hoping to get em back to the nice classic silver. Anyway I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of who does good work around here. Looking for cost effectiveness haha

Cost effective is going to be to have them stripped and powdercoated. I don't care how good of a job someone does painting them, it will never be as tough as powdercoating. Expect to pay around $250-300 for stripping/blasting and powdercoating.

Naw that doesn't sound bad. I heard powder coating weakens the wheels though because of the heating process… Is that true? I don't know much about the process

I've never heard anything like that before. Most wheels are powdercoated from the factory.

I know a guy in Md that is pretty cheap but not that cheap! I just got my car painted now I'm getting the euro weaves powder coated. They all say that the Euro weaves are a pain in the ass to strip and powdercoat.
