wut? Are you saying that you'd rather be able to bring in a car you choose from overseas than to try to find one already brought over?

Exactly. I will know what I'm getting, there's a larger pool to choose from, and I know for an absolute fact how it is in the US legally here. If you sell a touring in the US, you better have extensive documentation of how it got here legally. I'm going to make a safe bet unless they say it was federalized and have proof, there's a good chance the vin was just swapped from a US E30. If I bought a touring, I would never get rid of it and I wouldn't like the feds showing up a few years down the road trying to seize my car because someone somewhere got wise.
