    Yes, but there are sites that allow you to enter a plate number and find tons of somebodies personal information. I'm not paranoid enough to blur mine though.

    Just got done blurring mine on a bunch of photos. I do it just as a precaution. You can easily find where a car is register with the plate number so I'd rather not have that all over the interwebs.

    People see your build threads, and see all the parts that have gone into the car. If they recognize it on the street it's more likely to get stolen. Sorry to say it.


    Of course, if you have a POS E30, don't worry about it ;)

    That's what I thought. And the other thing is that my life would probably improve overall if my E30's disappeared overnight.

    But seriously, its not so much about the protection of the car, as the amount of info you can get off a variety of websites. However, I still never blur mine. Too lazy
