Literally THOUSANDS of people see the license plates on your car every day. Tell me how seeing it on the internet is ANY different.Comment

People see your build threads, and see all the parts that have gone into the car. If they recognize it on the street it's more likely to get stolen. Sorry to say it.
Of course, if you have a POS E30, don't worry about it ;)Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

Just got done blurring mine on a bunch of photos. I do it just as a precaution. You can easily find where a car is register with the plate number so I'd rather not have that all over the interwebs.91 318is M50 swapped

Yes, but there are sites that allow you to enter a plate number and find tons of somebodies personal information. I'm not paranoid enough to blur mine though.Comment

meh.. never fully understood why anyone would bother..Comment

I constantly run peoples plates that I write down while sitting in traffic. I then find where they live, and leave massive dildos on their front lawn. Better keep blurring, or you'll get a huge cock sticking out of your landscaping one night.
SRSLY....I'm gonna blur mine IRL. Don't want dem car thieves to take my plate down at a stop light and steal my car.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5Comment
