    Tell me what you think! Help!

    Hey guys I need a little help!

    Back in the summer I did a lot of work on my car. It was time to rebuild the front end. I installed new control arms tie rods and everything that need replacing. I also did a steering rack swap. I put in a steering rack form a Z3. It turns in great and feels super tight. The car is lowered on Eibach pro kit and i am running 16x7 wheels. The car handles great around turns and low speeds.

    Once i get up around 65 mph the steering wheel starts to shake a lot. After I installed everything, the car was aligned and the wheels and tires were rotated and balanced. The steering still shakes. I've been under the car to make sure that everything is tight and everything looks good. I need some help!

    Please give any suggestions about what the problem because it is pissing me off! :hitler:

        Well, only because you did everything right. Under load is suppose to be better for real time balancing. How many miles do you have on the tires? It is possible that a weight may have come off already. You could maybe cross off the wheel/tire combo by switching from from to back. Are you sure that the wheel is set flush against the rotor? Torqued lugs?

        Im assuming that you did replace your CABs too, right.

          Im not sure about mileage right now but ive been driving on them for about a year and a half. I would say roughly 7k miles

            Have you replaced the wheel bearing in any of the wheels? If there's enough play in the bearing the front wheels will shake pretty bad. May be time to replace those.

              Yea I did replace the CABs also. Is there any way to know for sure about the wheel bearings? Or to check to see if those are worn?

                Bent wheel up front?

                Who balanced the wheels?

                I've seen where derpheads will forget to take the old wheel weights off before balancing...

                  I got the tires installed at discount tires. And they have been the ones who balance and rotate the tires.

                    Wheel bearings- Take an exit ramp that whips around itself...if you hear a roaring sound, replace the outside bearing.

                    Strut bearing good too?

                      Road force balance the wheels/ tyres. It's most likely a tire issue. Check for cupping, feathering, or un-even wear.

                        Might be a dumb question, but... Are your wheels hubcentric?
                        Sounds like you did everything right. My guess would be old or cheap tires.

                              Im hoping that it is just a shitty job of balancing. The wheels have hubcentric rings in them and the tires have barely done any driving. They are hankook tires so they aren't really the nicest but not the cheapest either. The wheel bearing are also good just remembered that we replaced the drivers side wheel bearing less than 2 yrs ago and the passenger side one isn't to old either.
