Any suggestions on a e30 jack?

For changing wheels and shit. I need to know if there's a better alternative than the one in my trunk as it's realy shitty and seems to cause damage to the frame rails.

I recall the one from my Corolla, a scissor type jack was far better. Maybe something like that plus a couple of axle stands maybe?

    thanks in advance
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

I've got 2 of them, used at racetrack for a couple of years as well as at home. Well worth buying.

+1 for the harbor freight low profile one. Fits under a lowered e30, my only gripe is how quickly it lowers the car no matter how hard I try to lower it slowly...

I have one of those small cheapy craftsman jacks and one of their good ones ($100+) and those small ones are garbage, once you get a big one you never go back.

but seriously, it is kinda tough. once you get used to it you can lower it very slowly.

I got the harbor freight one that's slightly bigger. I liked it better. the front wheels are more stable than that single one, and it doesn't just fall down, easy to control.

Wait for a sale, I got it for 99 bucks

I like to use four OEM jacks on all four corners for maximum effectiveness.

The two I have aren't small they're around 2' long and about 10" wide. They weigh about 30lbs. It's a heavy duty floor jack. It's def. not a small crappy jack.

I'm going to echo what everyone else has been saying, go for the Harbor Freight aluminum jacks. I got this one over the summer:
                              http://www.harborfreight.com/rapid-p...html-7814.html
On sale for $80 right now, I got lucky and got it for $60. Just keep an eye on their ads, they are constantly running sales.
