Anyone using the Torque App+Bluetooth on an e38?

Any of you guys use that App? Also which bluetooth adapter did you
bought?

My new DD needs a few things. One of them is checking why the check
engine is on... So I bought this adapter:


The adapter connects to the phone but not to the ECU. Anyone knows how
to get it to connect to the ECU?

I have checked all the menus of the app to check if I had to turn the
connection on manually but couldn't find anything.

Anyone have experience with this App+bluetooth?

Are you turning the ignition on?

^^ yes tried it with the ignition on/engine off and with engine on as well
no diffrence.
