This car really excites me. I really like the part in the article where they mention the engineers went to grassroot drifting events and asked what the people wanted, so the car has fold down rear seats allowing 4(!) tires/wheels to fit in it. Freakin' cool.

      I really want one. :(

The wheelbase, dimensions, power to weight, ect are really similar to both the ITR and the e30 M3

It's a car that Subaru and Toyota co-developed. It's powered by an N/A 2.0 boxer 4 that makes a bit under 200HP. It's RWD, has an LSD, and is made to be an affordable enthusiast car.

Oh, and it's around 2700~lb if the figures are right.

totally down. i know it's splitting hairs, but it would really look more credible with a pleiades marking it instead of a toyota symbol.

looks like it shares a lot of body lines with the LF-A; pretty mean and lean looking...not like the vagueness of the scions.

can't wait to see some of the monster turbo builds to surely come.

I'm sure the mechanics are in order, but it looks too much like a shitty Hyundai to me.

hey now, shitty hyundais are starting to influence popular design trend, like it or not.

this thing makes a decent little noise.

Everything is awesome except for the exterior. Does look a little too much like a Hyundai...

i was wondering when this car would make its way onto this forum...FT 86 - bummer it's going to be under a SCION badge in the US, looking forward to the Subie version.
