You could do the same with a 325i E30 back in the day too, in the end, it's not an M3 even if it outperforms it.
HAHA.......... these are the WINTER WHEELS believe it or not. There is a set of ADV.1 19x10, 19x11,5s siting in the garage for next summer. going to be bronze centers on em with the smoked chrome lips
I am in Bamberg, the car is going to Stuttgart in Jan.
He is a Special Forces Captain (O-3) who is away on "missions" all the time, so collecting up a lot of extra change for that as well s being in Afganistan for a few years.Lol they can easily... Your friends were broke as a result of their own mismanagement no offense just what I've seen. Right after basic kids go to the jewel shop and buy 1k watches.. get to tech school get bored and buy a big tv with a ps3 or xbox and some games.. they go out every week ha and get frivolous with their money. Granted its not a lot of money being made but within 3 years this could easily be purchased by a meticulous saver...and thats as an E-3.Entry level Officer can easily afford within 1-2 year(o-1).
Sick car ... I actually like it a lot.. not so much the styling (BMW's fault) BUT I do like the concept(the whole 1 series).
I am totally in love with the 1M It is honestly the only other M I would think about getting rid of my E30 M3 for. the E92 is great, just to big. The lines of this thing ae so much better in person vs. pictures.Comment

the first thing you said is very very true and that never even crossed my mind. You could do the same with a 325i E30 back in the day too, in the end, it's not an M3 even if it outperforms it.

Nice/clean job OP! I like the color too, the M3's could be ordered like that though right? I know this particular one is a wrap though.
Nice look on the car with some good size tires too, love it!

Ever since they first announced the 1M and its rather limited build run I've had a strong feeling that it will be a future classic. I'm definitely stricken by the car straight out of the factory, but seeing the work you've done to it almost too much for me to handle. Absolutely incredible. From the way it sounds, this guy really deserves it.Comment

yeah, frozen grey is avail. for the M3 and M6 (we sold a competition model M6 last year)
the only colors avail. for the 1M are Sapphire Black, Alpine White, and Valencia Orange.
this one's original color is black.
thanks alot for the compliments on my E30.
I mounted Bridgestone 19" snow tires on the stock wheels yesterday, and aligned it on our KDS II- added a bit of extra neg. camber for fun.
Wed. the car is receiving tinted tails, and the front amber markers are going to be tinted to boot. Center section is still not finished (shop is taking their time on that.)
the rear spoiler is already ordered from what I heard, going to be that big azz thing from the MotoGP pacecar.
glad you guys enjoy the build pics, I was kinda hesitant at first about posting it here in fear of hate mail.

At the speeds the safety will be driving it can be utilized. If his car is driven on das Ring or a few months on the Autobahn then it works. You can always remove a spoiler.Comment

Here are a few more not so good pics of what the car looks like today. It is supposed to be picked up by the owner and will then get a real photo session.
I have now removed the midpipe cats and resonator and it has straight pipes from front to rear- NO ANYTHING in the exhaust system, and yes, it is unbelievably loud!
the tails as well as sidemarkers and front signals were all tinted, and the wheels now have an orange stripe to break up the grey a little bit.

It's pretty sweet, but I'm in the "these things are way overpriced" crowd.
Good build regardless.Originally posted by FunfGanMy car is so racecar it makes peoples head's hurt. Literally.Originally posted by lamboThis is r3v, your logic is useless. We went race-prepped, factory-built, street cars for the price of a loaf of bread.Comment
