Milestone: End of a chapter in my life... Trashing trophies

My wife and I decided that we would start remodeling the den so I made a big decision... Trash the trophies from 1999-2005.

This is the car that I built from stock that made it all happen... She was sold a few years ago :(

How'd you get away driving that in CA lol.
Idk if I could do what you did. Hell, I still have my soccer city champion trophies from when I was 10 and up.

I'm in the same situation. I have a bunch of trophies and wanted to get rid of them properly. I called local trophy shops, YMCAs, Special Olympics -no one wanted them. So to the recycling bin they go. Bittersweet, I'm going to save the engraved plates at least.

You could've given them to friends with hilarious shit on new plates.
And/or to people you hate ie. write "douchebag of the year award" and set it on your neighbors doorstep.

Yeah, the trophies start falling apart and they are impossible to clean

I remember seeing your old 328i at wheelfest I think it was right after you painted it red. I think it was your first time showing it, and Jon Sibal had also just done a bunch of work on his car and you two parked together. Pretty ridiculous stuff back then!

Good call. I hate clutter. Sure it opens up the place.

To many more future successes, trophy given or not, to you....
