          Hmm, interesting. I've actually never seen brake rotors like this before, are they shaped like that so the e-brake can lock on very strong by grabbing a 'peak'? Or is that not actually the rotor?

            that is the rotor, most likely that way to assist with preventing warpage at high temperatures. Normally seen on smaller diameter/thinner motorcycle rotors though....
