Ball park value on this low mile 325i?

    Interior: 7/10
Exterior: 4/10 (95% of the car is great, cleans up really well, just one bad fender and the couple of rust spots.)
    Engine/ Mechanical: 9/10

    Pros:
    - 95,000 miles
    - Automatic transmission that shifts like butter.
    - Red on Tan Sport interior w/ black carpet
    - Lowered on Bilstein struts and H&R springs.
    - New radiator, fan clutch, timing belt, water pump, plugs, and some random gaskets and bits
    - Aftermarket stereo and speakers
    - New battery, fresh fluids, recent oil change
    - Tires aren't brand new, but they are in great shape. Stock BMW bottlecap rims included.
    - All gauges work

    Cons:
    - Paint is not good. There is one rust bubble on the sun roof, other than that, its rust free.
    - The previous owner tried a wheel/ tire combo that was slightly too large, ended up messing up the front passenger side fender. Its bent back into shape, but needs fresh paint. Personally, if I was going to keep this car, I'd replace the fender entirely.

If it had a 5 speed I could see you getting 2,300 or so. But like the others are saying...1,500-2k

I would agree with the other two in this thread. Any interior pictures?

Miles don't really matter that much with e30s. What matters is what parts are original and what has been replaced.(maintenance)

What do you think is going to be more reliable:

An e30 that has sit in a garage and not driven much for most of its life and everything is original including things that should have been replaced because they are very old.(but the owner didin't because he hasn't put the miles on it)

            or

An e30 with many many miles like over 200k that was a daily driver with the owner doing regular maintenance and replacing anything that broke.

$1200-$1500 depending on what maintenance records come with it.

bottom line: car definitely needs fixin up. so look at spending a couple grand to bring it back. $1000.00

Personally, I never look at what was spent on the car unless it was very well maintained. I look at what the car is going to need. If the expense exceeds the worth of the car then I don't buy it. I got my 325is from a used car dealer on a trade in. 1000 out the door. it needed about 1000 worth of body work. and a bit of fixin up here and there. I spent 2000 in total just in work and parts. not labor. so my pic is the end result.

why did I buy it? Because I liked it and the interior was 9/10 black leather sport. that was the only reason I didn't have the heart to part out.
mileage was 212k kilometers = 132k miles. winter driven-motor is very healthy.

Thanks guys. That's right around were I was pegging it, I just wanted confirmation.

Its got good maintenance records, and someone, at some point, really loved it. I'm thinking about it as a DD for my little sister.

                      Paint is important too.
