the pic of the factory sticker is really cool. one of my ix parts cars came with the original sticker. its kind of like a glimpse into the past. for me, its hard to believe ix's get such crappy fuel economy in the city. i always seem to get about 20 or a bit better with mine.Leave a comment:

Nice find! I've got the original receipt from mine as well. I think it was $33,000 with a $600 destination charge. It was originally imported to North Carolina. Who wants an ix in NC?
Unbelievable. If the guy had invested in Apple in 1988 instead of buying the 325ix. Hind sight is always so clear.Leave a comment:

Call dealer, ask for parts, give last 7 of VIN, ask them to email you the options list.
I do this every time I buy a car.
Will look like this:

I actually average around 18-19mpg city, and on my last highway trip (roughly 200 miles), I averaged about 24-25, so I think I'm doing all right.Leave a comment:

If anyone is interested, here's a photocopy of my car's original window sticker. It's for a 1988 BMW 325ix, but I'm assuming a lot of this stuff will be similar across the 1988 325is/ic as well:

Please do. It would be cool to see. I also like the idea of new window stickers with mods. Could make them look old school so one wouldn't notice at first glance.
I also have the original window sticker for my 1967 Pontiac. Having one for the E30 would be cool.Leave a comment:

I've got a photocopy of my original window sticker from the dealer from which it was bought. Somehow the original owner held on to it for this long.
I'll scan it and post tomorrow ('88 325ix.)Leave a comment:

If you could make a window sticker with the current specifications (mods etc) that would be awesome.Leave a comment:
