My question is why the fuck did he even start it. Or try rolling down the windows.

Shit, I woulda let that damn thing air out for at least 2 hours before even trying ANYTHING electrical. (Which as we all know, is pretty much everything....)

          Incredible.

Definitely would NOT have tried to start it in the first place. I would've been afraid to open the garage door also, for fear of the garage light or something else setting it off. Probably would've left the truck's doors open for a while, and opened any available windows in the garage, and just stayed out of the garage for a few hours.

The driver's seat itself must've saved him from a good amount of the blast. He apparently is deaf in one ear now... airbags deployed also... unreal.

By the way... I want to see this done on Mythbusters!!!

Why would he leave an acetylene bottle inside a sealed vehicle over night, jeez. Hope he learns a safety lesson from this. Very lucky to be alive, and very lucky his house didn't blow up while he was sleeping.

Wow! Compressed gas cylinders, explosive or not, are supposed to transported upright and never in an enclosed vehicle.

It's incredible that guy is alive.
