    Need electrical help

    Im a bit on idiot when i come to wiring. i bought a outside temperature sensor for the obc and i managed to screw that up, yea really that little two wire sensor and now that i shorted it out now my cluster isnt working my temp gauge dont work the spedometer not working and the OBC not working either. anyone know what fuses i blew, ive checked them all and they all look good please help.

    You can't blow up anything by shorting out the OBC sensor wires.

        check your fuses and you might wanna take out the cluster and check that too

          Doesn't the outside temp sensor register at the SI board?, I think that ambient temp is one of the factors the computer uses in calculating service interval.
          I could be way off, but if you fry the SI board, your cluster goes with it.

            yup my cars the same way due to a bad si board rpm eco guage and temp guage are all out

              IIRC fuse 10 handles all that stuff.

                I'm 99% sure it doesn't. The wiring for the sensor goes right into the OBC - the signal wire is a solid blue wire. Also - many cars didn't come with an OBC.
