Damnit, so much hate on my racecar


Anybody have any idea how much the a/c compressor and all the lines weigh? Its coming out regardless, just curious.

I was going to do this cause it doesn't work right now anyway.
I've seen different number floating around but someone weighed it at 30lbs for everything - that is compressor, condensor, lines all the way into the inside, the brackets, etc.
That's the most reliable and consistent weight I found.
I've seen people say other higher numbers but I think it was BS and they were just guessing.

Wow yeah, I have seen higher haha. Mine is crap too, and if I can clean the bay up, and drop some weight in the process of removing it why the hell not. While Its off the road I'm welding the sunroof up and deleting abs. The abs delete makes the swap A LOT easier.
